Assistant Professor of Crop Genetic and Breeding at Plant Genetic Resources Department, Ecology and Dry Lands Agricultural Division. Desert Research Center (DRC), Egypt.
He is a Assistant Professor of Crop Genetic and Breeding at DRC and he received his Ph.D. in 2018 from Huazhong Agricultural University, China. From 2008 to 2019, he has working as researcher at DRC. Dr. Mohammed has been working in Plant biotechnology in the field of Plant Functional Genomics and Secondary Metabolism for 11 years, his current research involves in the usage of different plant metabolites database and the new techniques such as (RNA-Seq) as a method to identify and discover the genes involved in the biosynthesis of various primary and secondary metabolite pathways in model and non-model plants with unknown genomic sequences. Dr. Mohammed Published many pree reviewed papers in top scientific journals such as BMC Plant Biol, DNA research, Scientific reports and Microbial Pathogenesis.
