Professor of Therapeutic Biochemistry, Department of Pharmacognozy, Pharmaceutical and Pharmaceutical Industries Research Division, National Research Center.
Dr. Salwa is the head of the Anti-Cancer Drug discovery Group. She supervised 13 Master Thesis and 2 PhD thesis.The research team of the graduation project, which I supervised, won first place in the Biotechnology Day at Cairo University in 2016. She has participated in many international conferences and workshops in India, China, Russia, Italy and Turkey. She is the secretary of the Association of Women in Developing Countries for 10 years. She has 32 international Publications in international journals. She supervised graduation projects in biotechnology for the Faculty of Science, Cairo University and MSA.
She has participated in 10 research projects, some of which are funded by USA, Stdf, National Research Center as Principal Investigator, Co-PI and Member. She applied for a patent on the re-employment of some medicines.
